A student's room will be their home away from home while at school. For this reason Residence Life goes to great lengths to make sure that the basic requirements for a healthy and relaxing living are provided.

The student rooms in the residence halls are carpeted and fully equipped for your living and study needs. Room dimensions are all approximately 10'x16', including 2 closets. Room safety and security items include deadbolt locks on all room doors, and a smoke alarm in each room in addition to the central fire alarm system in each hall for fire safety.

Students are encouraged to decorate the room to reflect their taste and personality. Students may choose to loft their beds to conserve space, either by renting freestanding lofts through the university, or students may build their own (pressure-lofts and hanging lofts are not permitted).
