Residence Hall Community Council
Each residence hall has a community council. This group meets to plan activities and events and to discuss hall issues and policies. Every hall resident is encouraged to attend the meetings. The organization’s programs and events are funded by a voluntary activity fee collected annually. Participation in community council is an enjoyable and convenient way to meet other people and get involved in campus life.
United Students in Residence Halls (USRH)
USRH is a governmental body consisting of representatives from each hall. USRH serves as a recommending body to University departments that relate to student life in residence halls.
USRH is based on the philosophy that student input is necessary to form policies that affect student conduct and social and academic programming. Besides having the opportunity to be part of the legislative body, hall residents are encouraged to participate in some of the organization’s many committees. If you’re interested in becoming involved, contact the USRH office at (920) 424-4334 or http://usrh.housing.uwosh.edu .
