Facilities Management
The Facilities Management team supports the maintenance needs throughout the residence halls.
Some of the duties performed by the Facilities Management Office is the repair of furniture in the residence halls, maintenance of the grounds around the residence halls, and electrical, appliance and plumbing repair.
The wood shop refurbishes furniture such as desks and dressers during the summer months. Facilities staff includes several full time positions,for example; facilities supervisor, 2 facilities repair workers, student paint supervisor, an upholsterer, and a grounds crew supervisor.

Online Maintenance Requests
A computerized maintenance request system was
created to improve the paper-based system. Any transaction made online
will also be apparent to anyone that is running the application; hence
it reduces the amount of time required for information to travel.

Facilities and Equipment
The Facilities Department is well equipped to
keep up with the students of this campus. They have a fully equipped
upholstery shop, wood shop, paint room, and repair shops. The
Facilities Office is located in the basement of the River Center.
