When registering to ResNet these are the policies residents agree to in order to connect. These policies are set in place to insure everyone gets quality Internet service.
Bandwidth
In order to insure each resident gets fast Internet speeds we need to limit the amount of downloads and uploads from one resident in one day.
Hubs
New this year every room (other than those in Taylor Hall) will already have a hub package. This means no more walking to across campus and waiting in line to check out a hub.
Wireless
Every year the campus grows in the number of wireless access points. As we continue to grow it remains very important the students do not bring their own wireless routers.
Computing Acceptable Use
While using the network it is important that all the users follow certain guidelines for legal use. We also need to make sure that our users are protected from harm due to others activities.
