Computer Services - MIO
The Department of Residence Life's Computing Services are provided by the Management Information Office(MIO). The MIO is almost entirely staffed by students. MIO provides internet access to the students living in the resident halls. The MIO is also responsible for the MyUWO Portal which was created by students for students. The MIO is committed to best serve its customers, the students living in the Residence Halls.
The MIO also provides support for the 300+ workstations owned by the department of Residence Life. MIO also runs the Department's extensive server farm (including Linux, MS Windows servers, MacOS X servers, Plone, Email, Web, etc).
