The Gruenhagen Conference Center offers the following meeting room amenities:

  • Variety of setups to suit individual conference needs
  • Arrangements for use of other University facilities and classrooms
  • Approximately 35,000 sq. ft. of conference space
  • 31 meeting rooms
  • Outdoor venue space

We have the ability to accommodate 5,400 participants. A 50% discount will be given on GCC meeting room rental fees to groups lodging 150 or more guests.

Conference Planners

Your personal conference planner will assist you with all aspects of your event to include, but not necessarily limited to the following:

  • Preparation of full event bid and budget
  • Reservation of all event space
  • Reservation of all guest lodging space, both on-site and off-site at Oshkosh hotel properties
  • Assessment of all food service needs to include menu and budget preparation
  • Assessment of all technical/audiovisual needs
  • Arrangement for all event set-ups
  • Arrangement of any special events on-site or off-site
  • Arrangement for parking in campus parking lots
  • Arrangement of transportation needs if needed and within University policy
  • Coordinate event registration if needed

Food Service

Your personal conference planner will handle all food service needs for your event. This includes all menu and budget preparation, contact with the University Catering Director and Chef, food service set-up and follow-up with you for approvals.

Food service events can be located in any Gruenhagen Conference Center meeting space or at other locations on campus. Food service events can also be held outdoors adjacent to the Conference Center and along the Fox River.

The following food service options are available:

  • Refreshment and snack breaks
  • Catered meals and banquets
  • Cafeteria-style meals
  • University food court option
  • Box lunches
  • Special event meals

University Facilities

Your conference event and participants may also use other University facilities during their stay with us. Your personal conference planner will make any and all arrangements based on availability.
