Payroll/Personnel Coordinator
The Payroll/Personnel Coordinator reports to the Assistant Director of Residence Life- Business Services and Programs.
$8.15 per hour.
Work Hours:
10-15hrs during the academic year and 30hrs in the summer. Candidates must be willing to work in the summer and academic year during business hours which are 8-4:30pm

Job Description
The Payroll/Personnel Coordinator reports to the Assistant Director of Residence Life- Business Services and Programs.
- Act as a resource for all areas within the Department of Residence Life for staff hiring, orientation, evaluation, and LTE requests.
- Prepare new position descriptions and update existing descriptions for student employees.
- Update and monitor current applications, evaluation forms and reference forms.
- Post all jobs on the department website and Titan Jobs
- Provide training on Kronos to A/RHDs and any new student employees to the department.
- Act as a liaison between the department and the University Payroll office.
- Train A/RHDs and PAs on the payroll process.
- Supervise the payroll process for the residence halls.
- Maintain file of work authorizations and CA extra hours time sheets.
- Organize and complete the construction paper order for the residence halls in the fall and spring.
- Organize and complete all paperwork for entertainment contracts.
- Complete all the paperwork for pre-requisitions.
- Maintain the purchase order binder and files.
- Process LTE requests for the department (paperwork for Paula and Janet).
- Work with Purchasing assistant to complete daily mailrun throughout campus.
- Customer service-Greet customers when they come in the office and answer the phone.
Duties and Responsibilities Include:
- Work with the Assistant Director of Residence Life to coordinate student employee payroll
- Act as a liaison between our department and the University Payroll office
- Post department jobs on website and Titan Jobs
- Coordinate entertainment contracts
- Prepare pre-requisitions for the department
- Assist in daily mail runs throughout campus
- Customer service-answer the office phone and greet customers
