Parking Attendant
The Parking Attendant reports directly to the Custodial Services Programs Supervisor for the Department of Residence Life. The person in this position must be punctual and detail-oriented; be trustworthy and able to work independently; have mobility and be able to be on their feet for the entire shift; be able to be able to work in inclement weather; and demonstrate excellent communication skills with the public.
Pay Rate: Lump Sum - $110.00 (new employee), $125.00 (current employee)
Work Hours: 7:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Job Duties
- Man barricaded areas to direct traffic flow
- Monitor traffic flow in parking lots
- Direct traffic flow through one-way streets
- Monitor incoming residents and parking along streets
- Assist with information about the campus, including office locations and long-term parking lots
- Assist with information about the Oshkosh community
Job Requirements
Applicants must be:
- Be able to work all hours on both days
- Be able to be on their feet for long hours.
- Be able to work in an outdoor environment
- Be registered for a minimum of 6 credits in a UW system school for the 2008 fall semester.
- Must maintain at least a 2.5 GPA.
- Not be restricted from access to any Residence Halls or on Residence Hall probation.
