This year marks the 30th consecutive Oshkosh Placement Exchange (OPE), bringing together candidates and employers from nearly 40 states each year. The programming department constantly develops new programs to support Residence Life staff as well as the students.  In 2007 we launched our current Portal, which is now what a lot of our programmers develop for.  Portal is written in ASP.NET using C#. The LAN team is primarily tasked with the configuration and maintenance of the department's world-class data center.  The MIO data center is home to over 25 servers running the most sophisticated hardware and software available. Senior Computer Technicians work with the Computer Technicians to support the hardware and software for the department, the Internet in the resident halls, as well as the computers labs located in each resident hall.   During the school year Senior Computer Technicians will be focusing on trouble shooting resident’s Internet connection and keeping the computer labs in good working condition.
